Click-Timing and Flick Shots
The Snap and Click Technique!
A flick shot is when an opponent suddenly appears on the side of your screen, and you rapidly snap your crosshair over to them and land a hit!
The Three-Phase Flick Method:
- Phase 1 (The Initial Snap): Rapidly move your crosshair across 80 percent to 90 percent of the distance toward the target.
- Phase 2 (The Micro-Correction Lock): Pause for a fraction of a millisecond as your hand decelerates to visually confirm crosshair alignment on the head hitbox.
- Phase 3 (The Click Signal): Click your mouse button only after visual confirmation!
Avoiding Panic Clicking
The most common aiming mistake is clicking during Phase 1 while the mouse is still moving rapidly. Always prioritize 100 percent accuracy first. Speed increases naturally as your brain memorizes distance translation.
