Developer Typing: Brackets & Syntax Operators

Programmers spend more time typing brackets, braces, and operators than plain English words. Mastering the symbol cluster on the right side of the keyboard is essential for coding velocity.

Bracket & Operator Mapping

Right Hand Pinky Cluster:
[;] / [:]   -> Resting Home Position
['] / ["]   -> Reach Right
[[] / [{]   -> Reach Up-Right
[]] / [}]   -> Reach Up-Right
[\] / [|]   -> Far Right Reach
[-] / [_]   -> Top Right Reach
[=] / [+]   -> Top Right Reach

Left & Right Hand Shift Reaches:
[<] (Shift + ,) -> Right Middle Finger
[>] (Shift + .) -> Right Ring Finger
[/] / [?]       -> Right Pinky Finger
